AVERAGE NUMBER OF YOUTH BASEBALL GAMES JACK KEEPS SCORE FOR IN A GIVEN SUMMER.
Jack Abdo, CPA
As a Nonprofit/Business Partner, Jack oversees audits for businesses and nonprofits throughout Minnesota.
Jack can’t seem to get the accountant out of him. During the summer, he spends his free time keeping score for youth baseball games. He gets a kick out of making sure the numbers add up just right.
As the son of the founder of Abdo, Eick & Meyers, numbers are a part of Jack’s heritage. Since joining the firm in 1987, he’s overseen audits—including audits under Uniform Guidance and audits regulated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development—for nonprofits throughout Minnesota. His expertise in numbers helps him go beyond his role as an auditor to help his clients identify cost-savings and areas of improvement.
Jack is involved in several nonprofit and industry associations. He is currently serving on the board of directors of the Colon Cancer Coalition, is a member of the Allied Charities of Minnesota, and is a former member of the Internal Auditors Association. He is also treasurer of the Highland Park Little League Association.
When he’s not adding up RBIs, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. They, along with their many pets, reside in the Highland Park community of St. Paul.
