Nonprofit Financial Success

Session 1

Wednesday, April 14, 2021     |     11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

The year 2020 brought with it unimaginable challenges for the nonprofit community. Organizations were quickly inundated with employees working from home, the prospect of virtual fundraising efforts and events, and the unknown factors of future cash flow and donor contributions.

In 2021, we anticipate a continuation of these challenges alongside additional considerations as organizations begin to find relief and resume their mission focus. Our nonprofit advisors will continue to help you navigate these challenges through the Nonprofit Financial Success 2021 Spring Series.

In this first of three sessions, our advisors will discuss:

  • Single Audits — – For many nonprofits, this past year has brought about increases and new opportunities in governmental grant funding. During this session, we will discuss whether your organization may be subject to a single audit, and if so, what that would involve, and how you can make sure that you are prepared.

  • “Stump the HR Team”: COVID Relief — One of the biggest questions on the top of the list for nonprofits moving into 2021 is COVID Relief. With Employee Retention Credits (ERCs) and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), we’ll discuss what your nonprofit needs to know as we continue to move toward recovery in this new year.
