Meet Brad – Senior Tax Accountant
Brad began his public accounting career as an AEM business tax intern during the 2016 busy season. Later that year, he returned full-time as a tax accountant. In his relatively short tenure, Brad has passed his CPA exam (on his first try, no less) and diversified his tax practice to include forensic accounting and audit and attest work. He is quick to acknowledge the support he’s received.
“It’s great to work at a firm that not only champions your goals but also your interests,” he says. “I don’t take it for granted.”
Brad describes AEM as having “a small-town feel with a big-four attitude.” To him, this is illustrated by the firm’s respect for life outside of the office and its ability to provide the challenging work necessary for growth. Speaking of life beyond work, Brad spends much of his having fun with coworkers, preferably outdoors—and on a golf course as much as possible.
