Scott Danger | CPA, CVA, Partner
As a Business Partner and Certified Valuation Analyst, Scott helps his clients gain a deeper understanding of their business and its value. With this knowledge, he enables businesses to feel confident in the steps they are taking and the effect each step will have on the future of their business.
Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Scott practiced as a CPA in New Ulm, Minnesota and had also held positions in the private industry. His work with AEM focuses on both businesses and individual clients out of the Mankato and Edina offices. In addition to Business Valuation and Litigation, he also provides audit, tax, and consulting services.
Andrew Brower | MBA, ASA, ABV, Manager
As a manager in the firm’s Business Valuation and Litigation Support department, Andy helps his clients gain valuable insight into their business so they can take the crucial next steps into their financial future. Andy has an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of St. Thomas, is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in business valuation as designated by the American Society of Appraisers, and is an Accredited in Business Valuation credential holder as designated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
His work includes preparing business valuations of closely held businesses for various purposes, including marital dissolutions, economic damages, employee stock ownership plans, gift and estate taxes, charitable contributions, S Corporation elections, buy/sell agreements and minority shareholder actions. He also provides a number of litigation support services including the tracing of financial assets, lost profit and damages analysis, spousal maintenance and child support calculations, and cash flow calculations and analysis.
Mitchell Hiley | CDFA, Manager
As a manager in the firm’s Business Valuation and Litigation Support department, Mitchell focuses on financial aspects of family law. Mitchell has a double major in finance and business economics from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. He is also a Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers in Business Valuation.
As part of his work as a financial expert in family law cases, Mitchell prepares marital balance sheets, tracing of nonmarital assets, spousal maintenance and child support calculations, standard of living analysis, tax calculations, and business valuations.
