A legally compliant employee handbook can protect your company against costly lawsuits and communicate important policies and expectations to employees. However, it can also be time-consuming to develop and not the best use of a small business owner’s time. After this short workshop, you’ll leave with the tools and resources needed to present your employees with a thoughtful, effective, and compliant employee handbook at a reasonable cost.

  • Customized and compliant Minnesota employee handbook template to jump-start your handbook development.

  • The two-part, small-group workshop includes group handbook training, as well as one-on-one guidance from our AEMWS HR experts.

  • Dependent on the level of customization desired, attendees that are prepared to make policy decisions during the workshop should leave with a functional employee handbook that is ready to implement.

  • Even if attendees are not prepared to make specific policy decisions during the workshop, they will leave with a handbook draft and a list of priority areas to discuss with key decision makers.
